A bit about us

LivWell Market is hiring several creative and passionate individuals for our market location at 8 Somersworth Plaza, Somersworth NH to support our Greek-inspired food service beginnings. Are you or someone you know interested in working for a small specialty food market starting at the ground level? We are looking for individuals who don’t shy from a challenge, who intentionally explore ways to be creative, and who find enjoyment in brightening the day for others. You will be a key contributor to our growth and evolution as we build along with the Somersworth Downtown.

This is a key person and role for our team. To match this role, you can run the floor with calm confidence, lead a small team with compassion and heart, and outwardly represent LivWell for employees and guests as a champion of our culture. Key Responsibilities:

🍅 Be on time ready to own and execute the daily opening routine.

🍅 Open the store and set the tone for every shift.

🍅 Cross-train as backup to the Operations Lead — Closer for continuity of operations.

🍅 Lead daily pre-shift meetings and walkthroughs.

🍅 Lead and support a shift team of 3–4 others across all zones.

🍅 Model the LivWell standard for food quality and guest experience.

🍅 Handle Toast POS, cash, and daily shift reporting.

🍅 Receive deliveries and communicate inventory needs.

🍅 Mentor and lead cooks, kitchen support, and other staff to align team members with LivWell’s culture.

What you’ll bring:

🍅 2+ years in food service, retail, or hospitality.

🍅 At least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

🍅 Servant leadership mindset — you lift others.

🍅 Calm composure when the pace is high.

🍅 Toast POS experience a strong plus.

🍅 ServSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain).

🍅 Allergy awareness and compassion — guests are trusting us with real dietary needs.

🍅 Flexible availability including weekends/holidays expected.

🍅 Comfort standing and moving for full shifts in a working kitchen environment.

🍅 Reliability and punctuality - the kitchen counts on you.

What you’ll get:

🍅 $17–$23/hr depending on experience.
